About The Simple Joy
Pam, Tuck, Stephen, and Michael make music that lifts your spirits and moves your feet. Rooted in Americana, their songs build on all that music built from the blues: folk, pop, country, rock. The result is a blend of thoughtful lyrics, layered harmonies and playful jamming -- but that's not averse to a screaming guitar or a thudding backbeat. The sound is both familiar and fresh, poignant and fun, with rhythms that invite a gentle sway and a knowing nod.
